VE day 2020...........

I made this full size plywood figure of a WW11 tommy emerging from the battlefield to be

greeted by a grateful modern day child who is gifting a poppy to him.

Many of our villagers banded together to make this large church display

The group effort in place with Colin Simmonds doves flying above.

I made this painting of a Flanders battlefield with ceramic poppies affixed. These poppies are the same as the brooch poppies that were sold to support the Royal British Legion.

The attached poem are my sentiments of the occasion.
